01.06.2011 Die Oerlikon Textile Components Stores erobern die Welt
Wattwil, 27. Mai 2011 – Im Juni 2009 fing die Erfolgsgeschichte der Oerlikon Textile Components Stores in der Türkei an. Zeitgleich zur ITM wurde der erste Store in Istanbul eröffnet. Heute ist der Store aus der Türkei nicht mehr wegzudenken. Dieser Erfolg legte nahe, einen weiteren Store zu eröffnen. Während der ITMA in Barcelona wird in Alexandria, Ägypten, Store No. 2 eröffnet.

24.08.2010 Daniel Lippuner übernimmt Leitung bei Oerlikon Textile Components
Remscheid/Wattwil, 24. August 2010 - Das Komponentengeschäft von Oerlikon Textile, der weltweit führende Hersteller für Textilmaschinen und -anlagen in den Bereichen der Chemiefaser- und Nonwoven-Herstellung, der Ringspinn- und Rotorspinngarnproduktion sowie der Spulerei, Zwirnerei und des Stickens, wird seit Anfang August von Daniel Lippuner geleitet. Er wechselte dafür aus seiner Konzernfunktion als Head of Corporate Controlling bei der OC Oerlikon Management AG, Pfäffikon, zur Business Unit Oerlikon Textile Components nach Wattwil, Schweiz.

Übach-Palenberg, 25. November 2009 – Oerlikon Textile fokussiert das Komponentengeschäft und veräussert Oerlikon Enka Tecnica mit Sitz in Übach-Palenberg im Rahmen eines Management Buyouts. „Für alle Beteiligten ist das eine optimale Lösung: Oerlikon Textile Components konzentriert sich auf seine Kernkompetenzen; durch den Management Buyout bleiben alle 110 Arbeitsplätze erhalten, das neue Unternehmen kann flexibler und freier am Markt agieren“, sagt Thomas Babacan, CEO von Oerlikon Textile und COO des Oerlikon Konzerns.
Käufer der Oerlikon Enka Tecnica mit den deutschen Standorten in Übach- Palenberg (Nordrhein-Westfalen) und Gröbzig (Sachsen-Anhalt) ist die Uwe Gaedike Beteiligung GmbH, Bonn. Die Transaktion wurde zum 25. November 2009 abgeschlossen.
