The Drip Detector detects faults during the spinning of staple fibers that are caused by dripping from the spinneret. The unit registers the number of drips from the melt in the fiber tow and requests attention to the spinning position, when the number exceeds a given value based on experience.
The gap distance of the detector is adjustable steplessly at the front of the unit, the switching angle can be adjusted slightly and the inductive sensor reacts sensitively and quickly. Because of the ceramic yarn guides used, wear is not a problem. |
