Spinnerets for Acrylics and Acetate

Enka Tecnica produces spinnerets for the wet and dry spinning process. These spinnerets, made of tantalum or stainless steel, are extremely hard and highly resistent to corrosion.

For wet spinning processes Enka Tecnica manufactures component spinnerets consisting of a holder and many small clusters of nozzles. These small round hole nozzles are made of various precious metal alloys or tantalum, whilst the holders are made of high quality stainless steel.

The advantage of these component spinnerets is that the individual nozzles can be easily exchanged, thus saving time and money. The Enka Tecnica acetate spinnerets guarantee high productivity and optimal filament profile.

Spinnerets for Viscose and Aramide

Spinnerets for viscose produced in spinning baths are only made of quality precious metal alloys, which guarantee optimal resistence to pressure and corrosion.

These relatively small spinnerets differ in hole number, form and size. The hole distribution is similar to that of an acrylic spinneret.

For the manufacture of aramide yarns, spinnerets must be able to cope with more extreme conditions than in viscose production. As these high-performance fibers are used in components subject to stress, for example in aircraft, bridges, sports equipment, submarine cables or ballistic protective equipment, the spinnerets, generally made of precious metals or tantalum must be extremely reliable.
