The DetorqueJet allows to remove or greatly reduce - during the false twist texturing process - the tendency of SET yarns to torque.
This satisfies the need for improved down-stream processing from creels of single-end textured yarns. By redesigning the air supply, the new jet uses approx. 20% less air than the old type DJ31/32, yet the performance and high uniformity from position to position are maintained. The detorquing action starts at very low air pressures, thus requiring even less air. Only 2 jet sizes are necessary for the entire textile count range. Improved wear resistence thanks to ceramic insert. Thanks to the open jet design, threading is very easy. The compact DetorqueJet can be used for S as well as for Z twist.
