Heberlein® TexJet-ATY = new jet geometry = new flow patterns = excellent effects!

23.09.2011

Wattwil, September 22, 2011 – Guiding you to a new era of ATY production, there are 6 reasons to proof it. The Heberlein® TexJet-ATY stands for significantly longer periods in between cleaning cycles, higher speeds, increased texturing quality, a process window from very fine to compact yarns, clear improvements in process-reliability and an unrivalled compact design. The Heberlein® TexJet-ATY consisting of TexHead and TexBody shackles off conventions to set new standards.

2 up to 10 times extension in between cleaning cycles
The Heberlein® TexJet-ATY extends periods between cleaning. A doubling of the running time has been verified for all yarn types in practice.
On PES white, natural and ATY spinning preparations the extensions from 2 up to 10 times plus. For Polyamide and top dyed yarns extends the running time from 2 to 4 times.

Quality improvements on textured yarn
Clearly measurable improvements in quality for super fine to coarse yarn are possible at common texturing speeds. The improvement is visible by evenly distributed loops and better texturing stability.
The jet program is suitable for all types of air jet texturing machines on the market. The TexHead, which replaces the JetCore, has to be exchanged as an entire unit.
Higher positional uniformity enabled by fixed pre-settings between jet, deflector pin and yarn guide. The immobilised positioning of all key elements reduces the spread and improves the process reliability with direct influence on the yarn quality.

Enlargement of the process window
Due to the wider range on textile applications super fine yarns are from now on producable at higher speed with considerably lower use of energy.
On fine yarn counts (70-150 den) single and parallel textured yarns gain higher stability and speed. For technical yarn (1’000-2'500 den) a more compact structure of the loops can be achieved. The Texheads corresponding to the jet cores from the A-series enables overfeed by up to 15%.

Improved process-reliability and easier handling!
The Heberlein® TexJet-ATY program has been made classifiable to T, S and A-series in case of yarn count and air consumption. Different versions such as left and right are redundant. The complete TexHead can be cleaned in the ultrasonic bath.
By exchanging the TexHead types the auto alignment ensures the right position of the deflector pitch, ensuring correct settings. The shortened design improves the threading and the start up of the machine, resulting less filament breaks.

Increase in speed
Constantly high texturing quality, outstanding positional uniformity and thread path stability at speeds up to 1.000 m/min. In other words, increase of 10-25% compared with A and S-series and 60-100% for T-series. For fine, especially suited yarns the limit speed is up to 1.200-1.300 m/min.
Today these speeds are achievable without further changes or conversions on the machine. Basic precondition is a machine suitable for high speeds.

Conserving resources
The durable housing made of stainless steel weighs 115 g max., compared to the successor a reduction by 30%. In comparison to the wide spread and imitated housing made of brass a considerable reduction of 75%.
The improvements became possible because of the redesigned jet geometry and the resulting new flow patterns, a break from the traditional concept. This development is the result of more than 30 year of customer related process technology and support and our continued investment in R&D.
