Wattwil, September 22, 2011 – With its product lines Daytex, Heberlein and Temco, Oerlikon Textile Components presents innovations for different applications within the filament industry. The novelties driven by sustainability, process enhancement and further development of the process underline the deep knowledge in R&D and manufacturing. The process and product optimizers We see ourselves as innovators or in other words we are interested in our costumers’ problems. The innovations on display optimize existing processes and simplify the product handling. The Heberlein® TexJet-ATY leads to a new area in air texturing and there are six main reasons; - 2 up to 10 times extension in between cleaning cycles
- quality improvements on textured yarn
- enlargement of the process window from super fine to coarse yarns
- improved process-reliability and easier handling
- substantial increase in speed s
- resource conservation
FACT - Heberlein® TexJet-ATY = new jet geometry = new flow patterns = excellent effects! In the first place twist stoppers avoid the twists to move backwards in the texturing process, Temco® Twist Stoppers are designed to meet very strict costumer demands and offer superior performance. Deep process knowledge leads to: - outstanding runnability
- extended life time
- Snap fit for a screw free assembly
- easy cleaning and maintenance
Besides this, nip rollers and friction discs are important elements of the texturing process in fact they are the key elements for successful and profitable yarn production. The newly developed Temco® Friction Discs for Polyamide with a compound especially regulated to this fibre. Due to a specific PUR material design, the polishing of the surface and resulting problems can be avoided. The lifelong roughness of the surface is ensured by the new disc profile.
The so called Temco® Long Life plus Friction disc designed for abrasive yarn is wear protected for a 50% higher lifetime.
Temco® Integrated Bearings – for high efficiency and demanding applications The integration of the inner raceways to the shaft and the outer raceways to the bearing housing leads to significant advantages. The concept results in compact and stable bearing constructions with less friction and starting torque resulting in substantial energy savings.
Temco® Separator Rollers are designed for many different areas of application. The Temco® VR60320-12 as an example shows the advantages of the integrated bearings, resonant free running and up to 50% higher yarn tension forces in comparison to previous designs. The corrosion resistant hard chromium or ceramic surfaces, applicable for heavy duties and depending on the final application, are accordingly for the best results.
The new ultra-smooth-running Temco® FR4018-01 Yarn Guide Rollers are suitable for all processes, where gently yarn guiding is required. Applicable for high speed processes like spin draw texturing process (BCF) as well as the FDY or SDY process for the technical yarn area.
Temco® Integrated Bearings - a compact and energy saving concept
e-save = living sustainability The 2004 implemented label, e-save has become a guarantee for energy efficiency and it underlines our responsibility for scare resources’. Compared to other products available on the market, the following annual energy savings are possible: - 60% Temco® Bearing Assemblies (LAG12.512)
- 60% Temco® Separator Rollers (VR2158-N)
- 50% Temco® Nip Rollers (LR6534-10.S.301P)
- 30% Temco® Covering Spindles with pot (MSE150E83.2947.55)
An improved ergonomic design for Heberlein® DWarpJet leads by easier threading to annual time savings of 25%. The interlacing jet for draw warping enables 62 threads to be processed in a single unit.
More efficient solutions = e-save
A combination of two competences – covering spindles The Temco® USC, the latest generation of a compact covering spindle, unifies two successful principles. Know how in spindle construction combined with the concept of Temco® Integrated Bearings. A reduction of the housing diameter down to 42 mm makes the USC compatible to all common covering machines on the market. In comparison with spindles which are using individual standard bearings the USC offers higher productivity, longer life time and a wider range of applications in terms of hollow shaft bore and bobbin size.
Industrial standards of tomorrow? The Heberlein® AirSplicer 70-2 with Phoenix knifes expands the technical performance limits with the maximum lifespan. The profit for the operator is that technical yarn, high modulus and glass fibres are now spliceable and sliceable. Phoenix high performance knifes extend the lifespan by a factor of 20 or 18,000 cuts (Basis: Aramid 8050 f 6000 dtex). The semi-automatic, knot free joining exhibits the highest splicing quality with flat, clean bound yarn ends and 75 - 100% of the base yarn strength.
The Heberlein® FibreJet-TG, suitable for technical multifilament yarns and BCF from up to 350 dtex, covers both migration and interlacing. The interlacing jet ensures a consistent interlacing performance. The robust, corrosion resistant housing guarantees a long product life even under extreme environmental conditions. Heberlein® MultiJet available for migration or interlacing process, are the first multithread, open/closed jets. The interlacing jet is now available with a narrow thread spacing of 4 mm for up to 32 yarn ends. Rotational movement during opening and closing prevents entrapment of filament residue and dirt between jet and cover plate. The ceramic parts with orange peel surface structure guarantee gentle yarn treatment with the lowest friction. Suitable for the migration or the interlacing of multifilament yarns made from polyester, nylon and polypropylene in the whole textile yarn range.
